Felt, cotton, paper, glue, keys

 

It's second nature to walk home before the sun goes down/

And put your keys between your knuckles when there's boys around/

Isn't it funny how we laugh it ott to hide our fears? /
But there's nothing funny here

The point is always the same: we are not the ones who should learn how to defend ourselves, it's them who must learn to not violent us. Today I0m a bit disheartened, because of a situation that seems to never change: only in my country in 2021 the percentage of femicides has increased by 8%, in other words, a woman is killed every 72 hours. 

So , should we really start wearing self defense weapons? it's ridiculous, ridiculous exactly as a ring with a key on it. 

But I too walked down the street at night with the keys between my knuckles. 

So maybe it's not so ridiculous.
